Halloween with Professor and Duchess

The Professor and The Duchess had a great Halloween and even dressed up for the occasion. Professor was a doctor and Duchess a princess. They looked all too adorable when we went trick-or-treating.


The Professor had a great time just walking around in his scrubs. Overall it was a fun day, just he didn't like his hat too much. He was always trying to take it off.

The Duchess looked so cute in her princess outfit. She was a good sport and was easy putting it on. I think The Professor was jealous as he kept trying to wear her costume. All in all it was a fun day and they got spoiled with lots of treats.

I miss my sister!

Here's the last picture I have with my sister "Duchess". It was taken during our last visit to Auntie's house. Heehee ... it was a picture of what Auntie found in the morning after she wakes up. Auntie said she's pretty proud of us since we used our pad to do our "business" with.

Papa and Auntie said we had to be separated for a while. So, for the time being ... I'm staying with Auntie and Duchess stays home with Papa. I don't like this one bit!!! But at least I still gets to see Papa during the week when Auntie takes me to work with her.

This weekend, Auntie took me to a few pet stores and bought me a bunch of stuff. There's a hedgehog who is missing a few limbs by now. She also gave me a pig's ear in the car on the way home. But I ate the whole thing before we reach home. Auntie's really suprised that I can chew through it so fast.

Auntie also took me to the doggie park again. I love it there. There are always so many new friends to play with there. Too bad, I was trying to make friends with this white fluffy dog when a big fat beagle stepped in and started growling at me. When I ignored him and continued to play, he snapped at me. Auntie grabbed me and took me home quickly before anybody gets hurt.

The favorite thing that Auntie got me was a huge beef bone. I spent a lot of time chewing at it all weekend. Whew ... it's tiring work dragging that thing around. It's HEAVY!

Papa went on vacation

We are spending another weekend at Auntie's. She made us a little more room this time around and let us stay in her kitchen. We like it more than the last place. We used to wake up every time one of auntie's neighbors walked by.

We are learning how to sit by voice command only now. The yummy cheese helped keep us interested and concentrated when we practiced.

We went out for a walk this morning. Then auntie put us in her car and we ended up in a park with a lot of other doggies. This was fun since we didn't have to wear our leashes. Professor made a few new doggie friends and Duchess liked her new human friends better. We both got a lot of compliments. We're friendly, pretty dogs! =) We're glad this park had both a little dog area and a big dog area separated. There was a fight in the big dog part. The dogs were biting each other and the humans were yelling at each other. It was pretty scary.

Auntie gave us a treat for dinner tonight. She mixed some of her chicken soup with our kibbles. We had to fight over the new item on the menu. We loved it so much we polished a large bowl full in no time. We're hoping for more in the future.

Auntie said she's really proud of us since we'd been using our pads with no accidents! We got a lot of pets and treats for that. Yay!

It's bedtime. BTW, papa? We like our new big crate. It's very comfortable. =)

Visiting Auntie

We spent a weekend with our Auntie a couple of weeks ago. We went to the groomers and came out smelling really nice.
We spent time walking around Auntie's neighborhood. There must be a big scary dog around, but after hearing him, we were too afraid to stick around. Auntie said she didn't know we can run so fast.
Here are some pictures of us taking a nap after running back to Auntie's house. We don't really know what the whole place looks like, but Auntie said we'll get to visit again and see the rest after we grow up some more and learn to use the toilet better.

Our Friends

This is Petunia. She came to visit us with one of papa and auntie's co-workers. She is only about a month older than us, but she likes to run around a lot more than us.

We have another friend called Phoebe. She's a little shy and we were not able to get a picture of her yet.

Together, we have fun exploring. It's fun sniffing and finding out about all our other doggie friends who have been around.

We're Home! (mid - Aug '07)

Our papa brought us home a few weeks ago. At first, we were small and everything seems so strange. We were really scared and missed our old home on the farm. But papa and all his friends are taking good care of us and we soon felt at ease. Here are some pictures of us sleeping. Yes, we used to sleep a lot.

The round basket at the top is only about a foot in diameter. It's warm and cozy snuggling together and sleeping.
